General Job Responsibilities
Community Bank Electronic Banking Assistant (EBA) provides staff members system wide with assistance in all facets of electronic banking products and services. The EBA must possess knowledge of all bank products applicable to the assigned position, fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies of the Bank, have a pleasant customer service attitude, and the ability to solve problems with attention to details. The EBA will fill multiple roles, as needed and assigned, and must exhibit the ability to multi task, as well as, work well with coworkers and staff members system wide. The EBA reports to the assigned Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
Below are examples of job duties associated with the EBA position.
o Process setups of Treasury services and make modifications, as needed.
o Assist with product knowledge and technical questions related to Treasury Services.
o Trouble shoot and research issues related to electronic banking products and services.
o Process incoming and outgoing Automated Clearing House (ACH) files.
o Follow monitoring procedures to ensure proper use of the applicable system.
o Taking ownership in handling complex inquiries and following through to completion.
o Other tasks and duties, as assigned
Education and Experience
Education
Graduation from high school or equivalent GED required.
Experience
A minimum of one year of work experience in the banking industry or related position requiring customer service and attention to detail preferred.
