General Job Responsibilities
Credit analysts analyze the most common primary and secondary sources of repayment which is cash flow and real estate collateral values. To evaluate
cash flow, the credit analysts spread tax returns and financial statements, produce global cash flows, and provide analysis to lender. To evaluate real estate collateral values, the credit analyst will review market data, engage appraisers, prepare in-house evaluations, provide written reviews of appraisals. Credit analysts combine the knowledge of both categories to ultimately evaluate the degree of risk involved in extending credit.. They prepare Commercial Credit Offering (CCO), provide support for the Loan Loss Reserve, and support the appraisal coordination and review functions. The Credit Analysts fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies of the Bank and operates all applicable software programs. Credit Analyst reports to the designated Loan Quality Control/Appraisal Coordinator or designated Officer
Education and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s or Graduate level (MBA) degree in business administration preferred (preferably with a concentration in accounting or finance), minimum
3.00 GPA
Experience
A minimum of two years of work experience in an area requiring customer service skills OR a minimum of one year of work experience in the banking
industry preferred. Education may be substituted for experience
