General Job Responsibilities
Community Bank Loan Documentation Specialist (Specialist) works closely with the lenders and other Bank staff members. Specialist prepares loan documentation for delivery to the lender or loan assistant for closing various types of the loan. The Specialist must possess a thorough knowledge of all bank products and services, fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies of the Bank, and be able to communicate effectively with the lenders and other staff members, at times during a difficult situation. A pleasant customer service attitude is essential as well as willingness to be a team player. Loan Documentation Specialists report to the Vice President, Platform Systems.
Education and Experience
Education
Graduation from high school or equivalent GED required, some college or post graduate technical training preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years work experience requiring customer service skills is required OR a minimum of one year work experience in the banking industry preferred. Education may be substituted for experience.
